  • Very nice architecture. Classic wooden windowframes with glass-in-lead windows on the top.
  • Lots of sidestreets are like this. People here are really socially engaged with the neighbours, something that is disappearing fom our dutch society...
  • A classic BSA, the old pride of England. Actually, BSA stands for: 'Birmingham Small Arms'. BSA started as a british arms factory, but became famous because of its motorcycles, like the iconic Triumph Bonneville of the 60’s. At its peak, BSA was the largest motorcycle producer in the world. Loss of sales (the japanese motorcycles took over the market) and poor investments in new products in the motorcycle division, which included Norton and Triumph motorcycles, led to problems for the whole group. But Triumph rose from the ashes, and is alive and kicking again..
