Angel Maria de Saavedra y Ramírez de Baquedano , III Duke of Rivas , a grandee of Spain , better known by his title of Duke of Rivas (Cordoba , March 10 of 1791 - Madrid , June 22 of 1865) was a writer, playwright, poet , painter and Spanish politician, known for its famous romantic drama 'Don Alvaro or the Force of Fate' (1835). He was president of the Spanish government (Council of Ministers then) in 1854, over just two days.
